Americans consider time to be a commodity. We spend time. We waste time. We buy time. We make time. As much as we believe we can control the commodity of time, there are still only 24 hours in a day. What you do with those 24 hours each day will greatly influence the success of your career. You don’t need time-management advice. You need to rethink your relationship with time. You need to fall in love with the 24 hours you have each day. Love your time. Respect your time. Protect your time. You need to care so deeply about your time that the way you use it is carefully guarded.
