Here’s my go at a second contest. My first contest to get an awesome “Remix” genre themed album cover went (SO) better than expected. I held that on Dribbble. Since I ordered a second iHub by accident I thought I’d hold a contest to give the second one away. So without dragging things through the mud here’s the skinny. I uploaded the stock iPhone ringtone “Marimba” here —> http://d.pr/ho0F Feel free to download it in case it wasn’t easily available on your computer. Now once you have the ringtone file on your desktop all you gotta do to win that awesome iHub is create a remix of the “Marimba” ringtone. I’m sure there’s some creative audio folks out there and I know this prize isn’t a jaw dropping one but it’s surely something a fellow Apple fanboy will love having on their desk. Here’s the official details:
1. MUST use the original Marimba ringtone as a platform for your ringtone.
2. Must be at least 15 seconds long.
3. Send your entry to my e-mail graykyle @ me .com by Wednesday August 3rd 10PM MST.
That’s it. I of course want it to be a creative and fun contest. If the entries are good and I am in love with the winning entry I might throw in a $15 iTunes gift card. :D
Lastly the iHub was a device created by a japanese company that they once sold but had to stop once Apple got wind if it. It’s of course a UNOFFICIAL Apple USB hub but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t look official. :P If you should have any questions shoot me an e-mail. Spreading the word would be greately appreciated. :P Thanks and let the creativity begin.
